DIAGNOSTIC MEDICAL SONOGRAPHY1980 HOUR / 78 WEEKSSEMESTER CREDIT HOURS 78.5The objective is to provide the didactic and clinical skills needed to enable the student to perform the Abdominal, OB/GYN Sonography, Vascular, and Echocardiographic requirements published or supported by nationally recognized professional organizations. After graduation, the Ultrasound Technicians will be able to assume a responsible position as a member of the health team in a hospital, imaging center, doctor’s office, or clinic.
